located on the abundant mekong delta in the southern vietnam, ben tre provence produces a delicate cacao with notes of honeysuckle, fig and citrus. all of the vietnamese origins we offer come from marou faiseurs de chocolat. marou has the unique ability to visit all of the farms in their network on a monthly basis, cultivating a truly personal relationship. mauro buys beans from farmers well above fair trade level and assists farmers with technical and financial support. like all eigen chocolates this bar is made with ethically traded cacao, sugar certified by the regenerative organic alliance, and compostable packaging.
